Even though this photograph of Whitney Port is from February, 2009, I couldn’t resist posting it because it features one great trend for spring. Every spring, both floral prints and stripes make a comeback. Trends want you to either go floral hippie or nautical chic. This year, one great trend is Mixing Stripes and Florals. Just like Whitney Port did at the Diane von Furstenberg show for Fashion Week.

What do you think of this emerging new trend of mixing two classic spring trends? Personally, I love it! It’s a great way to get dressed up but still be a bit dressed down. It’s creative and fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Plus, I think that Whitney Port pulls it off and looks great. She definitely doesn’t need to look into some of the best diet pills. It’s nice to see someone that looks healthy.
