Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Crème Review

As I’ve said many times before, I’m a total sucker for lip products. I have a ridiculous amount of glosses and balms stashed anywhere and everywhere you can imagine. I also love hand creams. So, when I was offered a chance to try Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Crème by an affiliate of the company, I could wait to test it out! I receieved the sample in the mail from this company last week and have been using both the hand creme and the lip balm on a regular basis since. I love the container. For girls who have a purse as cluttered as mine, it’s often difficult to find both my hand cream and lip balm without digging through my purse for a few minutes. Not only are they both on the same tube, but the lip balm side also has a small mirror for make up checkups.

My first favorite thing about Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Crème is the scent. While the back of the package says it’s scent is “Almond Pie”, it definitely has more of a natural coconut scent with a hint of almond. If you’re like me and love coconut scented items, you will love this product from its smell alone. The product directions recommend to apply the hand crème after each time you wash your hands until completely absorbed and then to apply a thin layer on top. Following these directions, I honestly don’t think that my hands have ever felt softer. The crème isn’t greasy at all and absorbs quickly into your skin. Plus, a little bit goes a long way.

The Lip Balm isn’t as thick as I prefer. It’s about the consistency of Vaseline. However, it does a great job of keeping my lips soft and gives lasting results. As with the hand crème, a little bit goes a long way. Only a tiny dab is enough to keep my lips soft and smooth for a long time. The lip balm doesn’t have as strong of a scent as the hand crème, which is a plus. It also contains coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax to help lock in moisture on your lips. It’s also a great product to use on your cuticles if you don’t have cuticle oil on hand.

Overall, I’m loving the Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Crème. It’s a portable way to keep your hands and lips in top shape. I loved the scent and I loved the end results of the product. After two days of use, I could definitely tell a difference in both my hands and lips. Consider me hooked, Votre Vu.
