The Cutest Lockets from Etsy

When it comes to necklaces, I usually don’t stray too far from my Juicy Couture Chain Necklace. I love chunky jewelry and have a really hard time buying trendy items. Whenever I do, I usually end up thinking that they are completely tacky in a couple of weeks. However, a recent purchase of a locket has brought back reminders of my favorite childhood necklace and my love for lockets. My Aunt and Uncle bought me a heart shaped locket with flowers engraved on the outside when I was a kid. To my 8 year-old self, this concept was amazing. I wore it nearly every day and just couldn’t get over how neat it was to have a necklace that, gasp, opened! I’m wearing both my new and my old locket in the picture to the left. I love how they look layered. It adds an edgier feel to such a prim and proper feeling accessory.

Wanting to share my newly re-found love for this accessory, I decided to hit up one place that I knew would have a large variety of cute lockets – Etsy. There were pages and pages of lockets. Everything from simple and plain, to incredibly embellished beyond recognition. I found six that I absolutely love. Here’s my take on The Cutest Lockets from Etsy.

Top Row, Left to Right : Heart Locket with a Chrysanthemun and Parrot Bird Necklace, Alphonse Mucha Locket, & An Old Memory Locket Necklace. I love the art deco feel of the first two, and elephants are my favorite animal.

Bottom Row, Left to Right : Pale Blue Roses Cameo Pearls and Crystal Locket, Magic of the Heart Necklace, & Victorian Lady Cameo and Crystals Locket. I tend to fall for any Cameo piece and anything with antique style keys.
