Spring Dresses from Forever 21
Spring is a great time to have easy to manage dresses hanging in your closet. They are comfortable to wear, will keep you cool on warm days, and make you look dressy no matter what. One of my favorite places to shop for dresses is Forever 21. Their dresses are always cute and extremely affordable. Plus, they carry current styles, super trendy styles, and a lot of basic styles.
The Babydoll Bubble Dress is my favorite staple dress for spring and summer. It’s simple and extremely basic, so you can easily dress it up or down. I’d wear it with a combination of the following Forever 21 items : Embroidered Cardigan in yellow, Natasha Braided Belt in white, Pryor Ballerina Flat in yellow, F1812 Sunglasses in white/grey, Assorted Vintage Bangles, and Bead Wire Bracelet. This dress comes in purple, red, and black. Pick it up here for $17.80 USD.
The Crinkled Plaid Halter Dress is perfect for those days when you want to look put together with minimal effort. I’d wear it with the following Forever 21 items : Ashley Pump in brown, Canvas Tote in ivory, Ancient Charm Necklace in gold, and the Cubic Zirconia Stud Earring Set in peach/light brown. This dress only comes in the color combination of Black/Taupe, which is incredibly versatile. However, a wider color variety would be great. Imagine how cute it would be in a cobalt blue and white combination, or a light pink and slate grey. Pick it up here for $24.80 USD.
I absolutely love the vintage look of the Eyelet Dress. The delicate floral pattern, lace, and ruffles make it just too adorable to pass on. Not to mention it’s bright teal color. You can either go with accessories to offset the vintage look, or to offset the western style of this dress. I’d wear it with the following Forever 21 items : Kohl Riding Boot in camel, Daydreamer Shirt in cream/olive, Cutout Teardrop Earrings, and either the Eco-Organic Tote or Organic Canvas Tote. You can pick up this dress here for $24.80 USD.
A good shirt dress is hard to find. So many are either too basic, or have a weird fit. The Print Shirt Dress takes a basic, and usually masculine, dress style and adds the perfect amount of feminine touches. The ruffle trim on the bottom, the fabric belt to accentuate your waist, and the vintage style pattern all take this basic style above and beyond. I’d wear it with the following Forever 21 items : either the Jodi Sandal in black or the London Fur Flat in black, Patent Bowler Bag in red, and Cosmo Headband in red. Pick up this dress here for $22.80 USD.

I really like the third eyelet dress. So cute.. throw that on, some sandals, light jewelry and you’re ready to go.
Exactly! That’s what is so great about a cute dress, you don’t need much else going on.
I am in love with shirt dresses! I think they look so 50s and beautiful. They’re such a classic piece imo.
I love them too! But, I’ve had such a hard time finding ones that are feminine looking.
I adore the middle two!! Soooo cute!!
Aren’t they?
i am not a dress person.
At all.
but i love that last one.
To be honest, I’m not too much of one either. I’m one of those girls that loves dresses and skirts, but I haven’t gotten over growing up a tomboy enough to feel 100% comfortable in them yet. I’m trying to work on it though!
I need some dresses! I can’t wear ones with straps though… I’m sure I’ve already explained why. I probably could wear the last one.
I like Forever 21 one a lot. I wish I could have went there on my Bday, but there wasn’t one at either mall I went to. I hate the shopping in Florida, everything is scattered, there isn’t one mall with every store I like!
I’ll keep an eye out for some cute ones without straps and do a post on that!
Thanks for the idea!
There’s a HUGE Forever 21 in SF that I cannot wait to go to once I have some extra cash. You can find such cute stuff there for so cheap! That does sound like it would be really frustrating.
I’m actually going shopping for a cute dress to wear to my best friend’s wedding… it’s a total last minute affair, so it’s not too dressy. I’m actually going to hit up target because right now they have Jovovich-Hawk stuff and I ADORE that brand. Milla is one of my idols.
I wish I had seen this post earlier (or… well… that I had more than a week’s notice haha) because that eyelet dress is amazing!
I love the Jovovich-Hawk line! The stuff from Target is cute, but it does look a bit cheap in person. Some of the pieces anyways. :-/
