Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, and Heidi Klum : Crazy For Boyfriend Cut Jeans

There is one clothing item that Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, and Heidi Klum are all crazy about this fall – boyfriend cut jeans. For those of you who are wanting to break away from skinny jeans, but aren’t sure that you want to fall back on traditional boot cut or straight leg styles, boyfriend jeans may be the look for you. They are a comfortable and casual cut but are a chic step up from the wide leg jeans that were popular last year. Check out Pepe Jeans Ladette Boyfriend Fit Jean, the American Eagle Outfitters Favorite Boyfriend Jean, or the D&G by Dolce & Gabbana Cool Fit Jeans to achieve the look.

Not sure how to wear the look? Try pairing the jeans with feminine tops and structured accessories to make the look a bit more polished. For the above outfit I paired the American Eagle Outfitters Favorite Boyfriend Jean with the American Eagle Outfitters Stripe Tuxedo Shirt. I love the look of a vest, like the Forever 21 Satin Button Vest (pictured), but I also love the look of cardigans. The Abercrombie & Fitch Evie Cardigan would be a great sweater to wear with this look. I like the look of casual shoes, like the Forever 21 Mocs, but some stylists suggest pairing boyfriend jeans with heels. Add in a great classic style bag, like the Sabina Leather Half Moon Satchel and finish with some cute jewelry and sunglasses. Personally, I still love the look of Wayfarer Sunglasses and would probably go the Sarah Jessica Parker route and pick classic, feminine jewelry.
What do you think of this trend? Is it something that people are going to wear through the fall and into the spring, or do you think that it will fade away long before?

lol
I am super tall, so those jeans should be fun to wear! Thanks for the “how to wear”. SO helpful.
I just don’t know if I can embrace this trend or not! I feel like they look sloppy or something…
