Recipes : Fruit Crisp

One of my favorite deserts is fruit crisp. It’s quick, easy, cheap, and relatively healthy. As far as deserts go anyway. :) I like to eat it warm with some plain or vanilla soy yogurt.

Ingredients :
+ 1/3 cup flour
+ 1 cup oats (I use minute oatmeal)
+ 1/2 cup brown sugar
+ 1/2 teaspoon salt
+ 1 teaspoon cinnamon
+ 1/2 cup melted butter or canola oil
+ 4 cups chopped fruit

Directions :
Chop up 4 cups of the fruit of your choice. I prefer to use apples or pears, but anything will work. Spread evenly on the bottom of a small baking pan. Mix together all of the other ingredients in a bowl and spread over the fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

  1. I am so going to make this. It’s sort of like the simpler cobbler the boyfriend and I make. Mmm.

  2. Oooooh! I’m going to make this when I get back this afternoon, I think. It’s perfect for the sweet cravings I seem to be having as of late!
