Eye cream is an item that is increasingly difficult for me. It’s something that I know is necessary to have, as it’s much easier to be preventative about wrinkles than it is to try and treat them later on down the line, but I have the hardest time finding one that works with my skin. I have combination skin that isn’t sensitive, so it seems like finding an eye cream would be easy to do. Unfortunately, not so. The past few that I have tried have irritated the skin around my eyes and/or caused break outs. Because of this, I have a hard time shelling out lots of cash for an eye cream and tend to just add an extra layer or two of my facial moisturizer.
Two weeks ago I purchased Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream after trying a sample of another eye cream by the same company. I love the stuff! Applying it twice a day (morning and night or twice at night) with the gentle touch of my ring finger has made a difference. I’ve noticed that my skin looks and feels firmer and tighter. When my grandma was alive, she used to rave about regular cold cream. She had amazing skin – almost completely wrinkle-free (even around her eyes) and said that as long as you apply cold cream to your face every night, you’re doing the same as the eye creams and all that stuff.
Just a suggestion
Maybe that would help with break outs and stuff, too? I use an Oil of Olay product that I really like. I think it’s just called “night cream” or something like that. The only thing is, it’s got a strong fragrance – so if you don’t like that, you may not like this particular product.
I need to get me a good eye cream. I have never looked too much into eye creams and wrinkle creams even though i have heard about how good it is for your skin to treat before it becomes a problem. I will have to try this stuff out!
