Product Reviews : Benefit Erase Paste

Product Reviews : Benefit Erase Paste It seems like everyone, myself included, is always looking for a better concealer than the one they currently use. From dark circles, blemishes, scars, or redness it seems impossible to find a good concealer without spending a fortune trying different products. It seems that, for me at least, the search is finally over.

Over the weekend I did a little shopping. While in Macy’s I was instantly drawn to the Benefit Cosmetics counter. I have always been very curious about their products but, having only seen them in Sephora, it was a treat to be around sales people with knowledge of the products. The sales woman tried several products on me. What was extremely helpful was that every product she picked on her own, saying that it would be right for my skin, were all the products that I have been wanting to try. The one product that she used and that I did purchase was the Erase Paste.

Erase Paste is different from your average concealer. While most just cover up your skin problems, Erase Paste also brightens those areas. My personal problem is hereditary darkness around my eyes. No amount of rest or water will completely eliminate those for me. Just a very light layer of this concealer made such a difference! I was so surprised at how great this stuff worked. It goes on smoothly and left my skin feeling moisturized. It even comes with a direction fold out to show you how to use the product best for different problems. Benefit Erase Paste was by far worth the money for me. I suspect that it may be for others as well. If you have yet to find your perfect concealer, you can pick up Benefit Erase Paste from Benefit Cosmetics or Sephora.

By the way, check out some great prices on games.

  1. Ahh finally it let me comment!

I LOVE benefit cosmetics! I used to use bad gal lash religiously before MAC’s plushlash came out (honestly, i love it so much more). they have some really cleaver stuff. and i love the names of their products. Good find!

  2. Because I tan 4 months on and two months off, my skin tone is much darker. I often do not wear a concealer. I think the tanning bed has been a cure for acne for me…lol. Though I am pretty sure in 10 to 15 years, that will bite me back.

I will have to take a visit next time I go to the mall to try Erase Paste. I do not have much of an under the eye darkness, but occasionally when tired, I do a bit more.

  3. I would definitely keep an eye on that product you mentioned. Thanks! :) X

  4. I’m a huge fan of Benefit’s products- I use more of their cosmetics than any other brand. In fact, I just bought the Hoola bronzer yesterday and I love it! I haven’t seen the Erase Paste up here in Canada yet…I’m going to keep my eyes open for it because it sounds awesome!!

  5. I really wish my Macy’s carried Benefit. I don’t think they do, but I’ll have to double check this. I just bought concealer yesterday as well, haha. Great minds think alike?

When you find a concealer that really works, you have to keep with it. I’m going to check this product out as I’m also one of those lucky girls with the under eye circles.

  6. i’ve been wondering about this stuff! :)

  7. Nice, I need a new concealer, I always have such dark circles under my eyes. I’ll have to give this stuff a try one day.

  8. tag your it!! :) check out my blog for details!

  9. Awesome.. I’m totally gonna try that. I’ve been developing some harsh under-eye circles that I want to get rid of too.

  16. Thanks for the great review! Which shade from erase paste do you use? Are the shades similar to the ones from boing?

  17. Hi, Alisa! :-)

I use the Medium shade of Erase Paste. The shades are very similar to Boi-ing, so whatever shade you are in Boi-ing is what you will probably be with Erase Paste. I find that, just as Benefit recommends, the Medium shade is the most flattering shade to start with.

  18. Hi Gals,

I just purchased the Erase Paste 5 days ago. I was happy with the product knowledge of the associate at Macy’s and she was so nice…but. After just a short hour or two the paste had settled into the lines around my eyes and looks scarey. The next day I used powder to “set” the paste…the same problem occurred. I like the highlight effect it has but I do not like the delivery system (a scooper) and do not like the price for the quanity. I will be returning this. I would like to remark that the Bo-ing product is awesome.
