Petit Vour October 2014 Beauty Box Review

Petit Vour October 2014 Beauty Box Review

The Petit Vour October 2014 Beauty Box was a great mix of beauty and skin care items. For those who are not yet familiar with Petit Vour, they offer a monthly beauty box. Everything inside the Petit Vour beauty box is cruelty free, vegan, and natural. Through their boxes I have been introduced to so many amazing brands. Every month I really look forward to the pink Petit Vour box arriving on my doorstep to introduce me to more beauty goodies!

The Petit Vour October 2014 Beauty Box that I received contained the following items:

  • Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick in Rebel Sol – If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I was already head over heels for this lipstick line. The formula is so buttery and moisturizing! Plus, the colors all look amazing. Rebel Sol is a coral shade that is gorgeous on. It’s one of my favorites in the line (Tenderness being my go-to lipstick). I already had a tube of this shade, but was excited to have received another. You can purchase all shades of the Devocean lipstick from the Petit Vour online shop.
  • Flo + Theo Body Butter in Orange Harvest – Made from cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, and vitamin E this is a very hydrating body butter. The formula is creamy and smooth. It absorbs quickly and does not feel at all greasy. I loved the Orange Harvest scent. It reminds me a bit of a creamsicle. This body butter comes in three other scents – Lavender Flower, Lemon Orchard, and Wild Mint. You can purchase all four scents of this body butter from the Petit Vour online shop.
  • Forager Botanicals Natural Eau de Parfume in Nectar – This natural perfume has notes of succulent florals, citrus and honey. Thankfully, it is not real honey and the perfume is in fact vegan! The scent was really pretty and really light. It won’t replace my staple scent, but I can see this being a great addition to my vegan perfume collection. There are three other scents available from Forager Botanicals – Bloom, Island Lei, and Woodland.
  • S.W. Basics Exfoliant – This exfoliant has very natural and simple formula. It contains only three ingredients – oat flour, almond flour, and sea salt. The consistency is so smooth that I was skeptical that it would work. But my skin felt smooth and polished after I used it. It was effective at exfoliating without irritating my skin. I like that the formula is so natural and simple. You can purchase the full size of this product from the Petit Vour online shop.

Overall, I enjoyed the Petit Vour October 2014 Beauty Box. It introduced me to three new brands and I liked all of the products that were included. A Petit Vour subscription starts at only $15.00 a month. Considering the quality of the items that are included, it is well worth the investment.

You can stay up to date with Petit Vour on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Pinterest.
