At a recent CW channel event for Gossip Girl, stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively stepped out looking great in two very trendy styles. Leighton Meester sported a long, boyfriend cut blazer style top with a killer pair of multi-strap mary-jane heels. Blake Lively chose to be daring and wear a bright blue romper, adding proof to the fact that rompers can be cute. She paired the romper with this years take on basic black pumps – the nude heel. I think that the two girls both looked great in their picks and I love their style. What do you think of these looks? Can Blake Lively pull off the romper?

Destroyed American Apparel for Playboy

First off, I have to say that I don’t usually take fashion advice from the pages of Playboy magazine. Ever. That being said, it’s heavy influence on American culture cannot be ignored and, from time to time, neither can the fashions presented by it. I was really surprised by the cover of the June 2009 issue. Bunny America Olivo was wearing a destroyed tee from American Apparel. Stylists from the shoot used the Sheer Jersey Short Sleeve Women’s Summer T and a pair of scissors to create the destroyed cut out of the iconic Playboy bunny. While it’s definitely not as covering and wearable as one recently seen on Ashley Tisdale it does have it’s own appeal and I love that they got creative. It’s definitely not something that I would wear out and about but, I love how it’s styled here and it’s something that I could see a lot of girls wearing to the beach and/or pool.

At the recent MTV Movie Awards 2009, actress Sienna Miller gets my vote for best dressed. Like The Hills cast member Audrina Patridge, Sienna Miller shows that sequins are back in a big way. Personally, I love her color choice. It looks great on her. The cut of the dress, being conservative in the front and with a plunging back, is also a really great pick. Overall, everything works really well together and, most importantly, it works really well on her. What do you think of this look?

At the recent MTV Movie Awards 2009, love her or hate her actress Cameron Diaz surprised everyone by wearing jeans. Few celebs go this casual for events but, it being MTV and Cameron Diaz, something about it works. I really love how she picked a vibrant small floral print for her blouse. Walking the carpet with her were her co-stars from her new movie, My Sister’s Keeper. Recently on the cover of Vogue, the interview made it obvious that this is not the year Cameron is going to settle down and send out some baby announcements. Instead, she’s going to be all over the big screen. What do you think of her choice to wear denim?

Freebie Saturday #44

This weeks Freebie Saturday is pretty tiny. I really wish that there was more out there this week but, I’ve looked all over the place and can’t find any more freebies to include. A couple that I have found were for diet pills, like Phenphedrine, and that’s just not something I want to share with the readers here at Logical Harmony. Do what you want to with your body on your own time, but it’s not something I’m going to encourage. Make friends with fruit, veggies, and your gym (or some awesome workout DVD’s) instead. At the recent MTV Movie Awards 2009, Twilight star Kristen Stewart rocked a very unique red and black patterned dress. I loved the belt and the sheer chest and shoulders. For those wondering why she dressed down her look with Converse Chuck’s instead of heels, apparently she twisted her ankle and couldn’t walk in heels. Personally, I think that the Chuck’s give it a twist that only Kristen Stewart would be able to pull off. Also, it’s really nice to see someone on the red carpet that is comfortable with their natural skin tone and hasn’t spent a lot of time in a Mystic Tan booth. What do you think of this look?

At the recent German Comet Music Trophy Awards, Ashley Tisdale walked the red carpet looking very edgy and very trendy. Her Destroyed V-Neck looks an awful lot like the LnA Ripped V-Neck Tee I featured in My Spring Fashion Wishlist. Personally, I love this look on Ashley. I love that she is always trying something new when it comes to her wardrobe and is able to mix grunge with preppy.
