Unique hemlines and shapes are one trend that showed up in the Rachel Comey Spring 2009 collection. I really loved her slightly non-traditional takes on classic pieces. I tried to get into the habit of posting Look of the Day pictures, but I’m always too lazy to take pictures, edit them, and post them in the same day. So, I decided to take the lazy route today and throw it together in a graphic instead. That works too, right? My cardigan is actually navy blue, but it was next to impossible to see when on such a dark background. The tank, cardigan, and skinny jeans are all from Abercrombie & Fitch. The shoes and locket (not exact but, a close call to the one I picked up the other day) are from Forever 21. For makeup, I did a bronze smokey eye with a touch of gray on the corners, black liquid liner on the top lashes, NARS The Multiple in Orgasm on my cheeks, a few coats of mascara, and some homemade lip balm.

As always, Benefit used great packaging for these items. I love the floral print and the colors that were picked. It seems like most Benefit products look great both on your counter and on your face. I want to check out My place or yours Gina simply because I love the smell of patchouli. But, what else can you expect? I’m from the North West, after all!

When it comes to necklaces, I usually don’t stray too far from my Juicy Couture Chain Necklace. I love chunky jewelry and have a really hard time buying trendy items. Whenever I do, I usually end up thinking that they are completely tacky in a couple of weeks. However, a recent purchase of a locket has brought back reminders of my favorite childhood necklace and my love for lockets. My Aunt and Uncle bought me a heart shaped locket with flowers engraved on the outside when I was a kid. To my 8 year-old self, this concept was amazing. I wore it nearly every day and just couldn’t get over how neat it was to have a necklace that, gasp, opened! I’m wearing both my new and my old locket in the picture to the left. I love how they look layered. It adds an edgier feel to such a prim and proper feeling accessory.
Wanting to share my newly re-found love for this accessory, I decided to hit up one place that I knew would have a large variety of cute lockets – Etsy. There were pages and pages of lockets. Everything from simple and plain, to incredibly embellished beyond recognition. I found six that I absolutely love. Here’s my take on The Cutest Lockets from Etsy.

One denim trend for this summer is white jeans. Recently, Ashley Tisdale sported a pair of trendy skinny White Jeans. I loved that she went with a white top and cardigan. She paired them with a simple gold necklace, nude heels, and a satchel style handbag. Ashley Tisdale isn’t the only celebrity jumping on the white denim bandwagon. Beyoncé was recently out and about in Europe in a pair of white skinnies as well.

Elle Magazine recently did a photo shoot with Gwen Stefani for a future cover and the Gwen Stefani Elle Cover Shoot Outtakes were released. Gwen rocked her tie dye Current/Elliot jeans, from their fall collection, which seem to be her current favorite item. I love all the looks from this shoot and am really excited to see what makes the final cut!

I will just get it out right now. I’m a complete Twitter addict. I check it multiple times a day. If I’m working here on Logical Harmony or just browsing the web, I have it open and running. Add me on Twitter if you don’t believe that I’m addicted. But, it’s not like I’m alone in this. Everyone I know that is involved in the web world, and even those who are casual users, have signed up at some point. The popularity of Twitter has been crazy. Anyone and everyone is on it. So, of course, there are also a lot of great add ons for it. Here’s my list of The Best Twitter Add Ons out there.
Just Tweet It : This is a great directory for Twitter users. Anyone who runs a blog or website knows the importance that directories like this have. It helps you find others in your niche while introducing your site to new visitors as well. There are multiple categories featured and you can add yourself to as many as you like. I just added myself to their Fashion category today. By letting you search for users by category and adding yourself to some, you can find and be added by users with similar interests.
We Follow : This site is very similar to Just Tweet It. It’s also an online directory where you can add yourself based on your interests and/or tweet content. But, unlike Just Tweet It, you can be more detailed. I added my Twitter under the tags beautyblogger, fashionblogger, and blogger.
My Cleenr : If you’re anything like me, you hate leaving dead accounts on your list. If they aren’t going to update, then what’s the point of having them on your follow list? That’s where My Cleenr comes in handy. It combs through your follow list and sorts the users in order of the last time they tweeted, with the most recent at the bottom. Turns out, I was following people who hadn’t tweeted in a year! It also sorts out a separate list of accounts that have been suspended or deleted. Keeping your follow list nice and tidy is always a good thing, and this definitely helps.
Friend or Follow : If you’re like me, you are completely annoyed by people who will add you on Twitter, wait for you to add them back, maybe respond to some of your tweets, and then remove you. Friend or Follow let’s you remove them back. It shows you a list of people you are following that aren’t following you back. You can also see who is following you that you aren’t following, and who your mutual followers are. Out of the 268 people that I’m following on my Twitter, 200 are mutual and the other 68 are people that I don’t expect to be added by but enjoy reading their tweets.

At the recent Young Hollywood Awards, current It Model Bar Refaeli showed up looking incredibly bronzed and bright. The hot pink shade of her dress combined with the large floral embellishment, purple heels, and silver clutch might be too much on some but, somehow, Bar Refaeli pulls it off. This look actually reminds me of something we might have seen on Carrie Bradshaw during the large flower phase of Sex & The City. (Season Three, right?) She looks amazing and I don’t blame her one bit for drawing so much attention her way with her outfit.
