For the Rodarte Spring 2012 runway show, NARS makeup artist James Kaliardos created a gorgeous smokey eye. He wanted to combine the upcoming trends of navy blue, a great smokey eye, and lavendar lips. In his words, “It’s a really beautiful, round, smoky eye with gradations of blue. It’s like ‘Starry Night’ and then there’s this beautiful lavender lip, complemented by warm skin.”

To create the look, James Kaliardos used the following NARS products :
