One of the big trends for this fall is Cropped Leather Jackets. They are a great way to add a bad girl touch to even the most feminine outfits. One of my favorite examples of how to wear cropped leather jackets was seen on Audrina Patridge from The Hills. By keeping the rest of her outfit simple and feminine (by using classic colors and heels), Audrina Patridge keeps the jacket from looking tacky and makes it look chic.

To re-create Audrina Patridge’s look on a budget is easy and exactly what I wanted to do with this post. Start with a flowing beige top, like the Gathered Satin Trim Tunic in Cocoa from Forever 21, and some basic dark wash skinny jeans, like the Kirsten Skinny Jean in Dark Denim from Forever 21. Some beige peep toe pumps, like the Gathered Suede Slingback Platform in Taupe from Go Jane, are perfect for this look. They are feminine but edgy, just like the final outcome of the outfit. A great alternative to an expensive cropped leather jacket is this Faux Leather Jacket in Black from Forever 21. Personally, I try to avoid wearing leather or suede, so this is the type of jacket that I would wear.

Accessorize with a large semi-structured bag, like the Marana Faux Leather Handbag in Black from Forever 21. Structured bags are going to be huge this fall but, stying away from a too structured style helps to add to the rebel appeal of this entire look. Audrina appears to be wearing earrings that are similar in style to the Navajo Tassel Earring in White & Silver from Forever 21. Her large silver ring is also very similar to the Beaded Floral Ring in Silver from Forever 21. Of course, Audrina’s signature accessory cannot be forgotten – aviator style sunglasses!
