Obey Spring 2009
Just to get this out there, I didn’t used to dig Obey and wondered what the big deal was about their items. It just seemed like over priced and overly trendy items to me. But, I have to admit that I am really liking items from the Obey Spring 2009 collection. They are a bit more feminine than items in the past but still have the edgy and trendy feel. Featured here are my favorites from the Obey Spring 2009 collection.

Three major trends I’m loving this spring are bright colors, graphics, and unique shapes. The Obey Spring 2009 collection has all of these trends. From left to right, the Blair Jacket II, the Leap of Faith Tank, and the The Girl Is Mine Hooded Jacket.

Plaid is one print that I personally will never tire of. You can take a basic shirt and some basic colors and it looks amazing in plaid. From left to right, the ‘Til Tomorrow Tank, the Casual Friday Tee, and the Better Days Button-Up.

The revival of 80’s inspired graphic prints and other retro items, like rompers, are something to be excited about. From left to right, the Block Party Cami, the Got Hooked Tank, and the Monty Disco Romper.

[...] Plaid Shirts : I guess that the grunge loving North West girl never really left me as I’ve never outgrown my love for oversize plaid shirts. One of my favorites is the Abercrombie & Fitch Donna Woven, which I have in Navy and wear at least once a week. I also really love short sleeved styles, like the Hollister Co. Beach Street Button Down. I love how plaid shirts are both preppy and grungy.
