Nicki Minaj for OPI

Cruelty free nail polish brand, OPI has teamed up with Nicki Minaj! The collection is due out in January of 2012, but I’ve got a sneak peak for readers of Logical Harmony. The nail polish collaboration between Minaj and OPI is everything you would expect it to be – super cute bright shades, great metallics, and a burgundy shatter top coat.
My two favorites are Pink Friday (of course!) and Save Me. I’d also love to see what the shatter top coat, Super Bass, is like in person. What colors do you like most from the Nicki Minaj for OPI collection?

I’m not a fan of Minaj but I do love that shredded glitter polish. The top two look like the shades from the Shrek collection.
When did Coty become ‘cruelty free’ because that’s who owns OPIhttp://deathbypolish.wordpress.com/2011/02/12/opi-and-essie-animal-testing/
Coty isn’t a cruelty free company, but OPI has been very very vocal that they maintain their no testing stance and don’t use ingredients that are tested on animals either. They realized that this would be a hot issue with a lot of their consumers and handled it quite effectively.
Supporting their parent company is a decision that individuals need to make for themselves. OPI itself is a cruelty free brand.
