My Spring Fashion Wishlist

If you are at all like myself, each new season means new items to lust after and new items to add to your closet. While a lot of seasonal trends are going to quickly come and go (such as the fanny packs of last fall), some are going to stick around a while and are worth adding to your closet. Here’s My Spring Fashion Wishlist that includes all the items I would like to add to my wardrobe this spring. Destroyed denim, v-neck tees, girly camis & tanks, plaid shirts, blazers, embellished sandals and basic wedges are all at the top of my list. This post contains my favorites of each.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Destroyed Denim

Destroyed Denim : I’m one of those girls who live in their jeans and believe that you can never have too many pairs. The ones that I’m lusting after this spring are all destroyed styles. I really love the look of super destroyed pairs. Anything with more than just a couple of holes in each leg. While I prefer skinny and straight leg styles, there are also some really cute boyfriend jeans that come in destroyed washes too. Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, and Heidi Klum all jumped on the boyfriend jean trend when it first started last fall, and it has only taken off from there. Pictured from left to right are the Siwy Hannah Crop, the Levis 501 Boyfriend Jeans, and the Levis Skimmer Skinny Jeans.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - V-Neck Tees

V-Neck Tees : While these seem like such a plain and basic staple to have around, v-neck tees are all over the place this spring. Opt for loose fitting styles and sheer fabrics to bring this classic item up to date. There’s no need to stick to basic black and white either! I love unique details, like destroyed fabric or a unique dye job. Pictured from left to right are the LnA Ripped Vneck Tee, the BDG Burnout Deep V Tunic, and the Michael Stars Watercolor Dye Crossover V. Looking for something that’s a bit less revealing? There are plenty of crew neck styles out there too, such as the Matix Burnout2 Tee.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Girly Camis & Tanks

Girly Camis & Tanks : We all have tons of plain tanks in our closets. While they are great as an every day basic, it’s good to have something better on hand for days when you want to dress up a little bit. These tanks are just as casual and cool as their plain jane counterparts, but take things up a notch. Keep in mind, these are also great to pair with blazers for a quick and cute outfit. Pictured from left to right are the Free People Mixed Fabric Corset Cami, the Covet Crochet Back Tank, and the Anzenvino & Florence Ruffle Tank.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Plaid Shirts

Plaid Shirts : I guess that the grunge loving North West girl never really left me as I’ve never outgrown my love for oversize plaid shirts. One of my favorites is the Abercrombie & Fitch Donna Woven, which I have in Navy and wear at least once a week. I also really love short sleeved styles, like the Hollister Co. Beach Street Button Down. I love how plaid shirts are both preppy and grungy. Pictured from left to right are the BDG Boyfriend Buttondown, the Joie Fara Mini Plaid Tuxedo Shirt, and the Obey Better Days Button Up (which is from the Spring 2009 Collection).

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Blazers

Blazers : What I love the most about blazers is their versatility. You can wear them with anything and everything. From basic jeans and a tee to a floral dress or a high waisted skirt, adding a blazer just makes the entire outfit look more polished. I only own one (for now at least) and I wear it any and every chance that I get. Since I have a smaller body type, I prefer shrunken styles because the fit helps create the illusion of a curvier figure. Pictured from left to right are the Free People Knit Mandarin Collar Blazer, the ASOS Varsity Sweat Blazer, and the Lux Little Brother Blazer.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Embellished Sandals

Embellished Sandals : Everyone has their plain flip flops and basic colored gladiator or t-strap sandals that go with everything in the closet. This year, try something new and go bold with an embellished style. I love sandals with beading on them and anything with an ethnic twist. Pictured from left to right are the Steve Madden Sinnerr Sandal, the Urban Outfitters Ecote Flower Sandal, and the Aldo Copa Sandal.

My Spring Fashion Wishlist - Basic Wedges

Basic Wedges : For being such a spring staple, I actually don’t own a single pair of basic wedges. This year it’s time to change that. I’m loving basic styles with lots of straps and basic details that keep them from being too plain. Pictured from left to right are the Aldo Brozek Wedge, the Steve Madden Florah Wedge, and the Aldo Fabroab Wedge.
