At the 2009 Oscar Awards, Marisa Tomei also arrived in the very popular cream colored gown. What I loved the most about her choice, besides the giant train, was the modern twist on such a classic design. By embellishing the dress with details in the sewing instead of beads or sequins, it created a great hybrid of vintage and modern styles.
