With the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 Ready to Wear Collection, Jacobs gave his spring fashions a completely different twist than most. His take on his collection? “It’s not such an individual expression. If last season was a trip back in time to the eighties, this was a trip to the theater, the ballet, the opera.” His statement couldn’t have been more true. The collection was full of unexpected details, designs, and styles. Of course, if Marc Jacobs wasn’t afraid to take the risks he does, his career would not be where it is today.
