L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base Review

Anyone that has seen my make up bag knows how crazy I am about make up primers. They all promise to help your make up go on smoother and last longer. I’ve tried all types and brands, from low to high-end, with mixed results. L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base was originally only available in Europe. When it was announced that it would be released in the states, the hype was huge and rave reviews were everywhere. So, of course, I couldn’t wait to give the stuff a try.
Please note that this product was reviewed before the focus of Logical Harmony was on cruelty free and vegan beauty products. At this time, L’Oreal is not a cruelty free or vegan brand.
My favorite primer is Smashbox Photofinish. However, it’s a bit out of my budget. At around $12, L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base is a bit pricey for drugstore makeup but affordable enough to be worth a try. After using it for several days, I can honestly say that I actually prefer it to the Smashbox primer. Coming from me, this is a huge compliment to L’Oréal. The primer goes on smoothly, evenly and leaves your skin perfectly matte. I also love that it comes in a tub so you can easily access every little bit of the product. My foundation goes on smoothly and wears wonderfully through the day. Even in the recent heat wave where I was convinced my make up was melting off.
My final verdict on L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base is that it’s quite possibly the best primer I’ve ever tried. If $12 seems a bit out of your budget right now, check for some a href=”http://www.ebillme.com/shop/”>online coupons. What’s great about L’Oréal products is that they are available at such a wide variety of retailers.
Have you tried L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base yet? What were your thoughts?
