Beauty Poll : What Is Your Favorite Lip Gloss?

Beauty Poll : What Is Your Favorite Lip Gloss? One of my favorite things do when I’m out beauty shopping is to peruse the racks of lip gloss. It doesn’t matter if I’m at a drugstore, a department store or Sephora. You’ll find me there. Plus, it’s pretty obvious from previous posts that I’m addicted to the stuff. I start with a lip balm (my personal favorite is Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm) and then load the gloss on. Right now, I’m favoring Philosophy Soul Mates Grapefruit Lip Gelato. I like glosses that moisturize, add shine, add just a hint of color, and don’t leave my lips feeling waxy. In my opinion, there’s nothing worse than a gloss that makes everything that comes in contact with your lips, especially your hair, stick to them.

What is your favorite lip gloss? What specific things do you look for in your lip gloss?

I love Burt’s Bees lip balm, but only on already-smooth lips to keep them that way. I cringe just thinking about lip balm ON chapped lips. I do that at night only. I’ve been meaning to get a lip exfoliator to be worn through the day. For now I just soak my lips in Vaseline every few days & follow up with a DIY sugar scrub.

For gloss, I’m super picky. I’ll use whatever my friend has in her purse for a quick photo op, but there are few glosses I’ll actually buy. My faves are the Born Lippy pots from The Body Shop.

I’m the same way, I LOVE LIP GLOSS! When it comes to a lip gloss I like something that’s not too sticky, and gives my lips a nice red/pink color. The scent is also very important, I like stuff that smells sweet. I really like the hard candy candy coating lip gloss because it smells so delicious and gives my lips a nice shade.

My favorite balms are currently the on10 Hershey’s trio from Sephora… they’re incredible.

Lip gloss, nothing can hold a candle to Chanel Glossimers. They have the BEST creamy texture, not TOO shiny/sticky, and great colors.
