Hot Makeup Trend : Fuchsia & Bright Pink One of the hottest makeup looks this spring is the use of Fuchsia & Bright Pink on eyes, lips, and cheeks. When done properly, and matched correctly with your individual skin tone, fuchsia and bright pink can look great on everyone. It’s can create an incredibly natural, and incredibly sexy, flush or go bold and use it to make you best facial features stand out. When it comes to brightly colored cosmetics, you really do pay for quality when it comes to most brands. If you want your color to stay fade proof all day, or to really stand out, skip the drugstore cosmetics aisles and hit up higher end cosmetics boutiques and counters. When it comes to eye makeup, lots of high quality brands offer shades of fuchsia and bright pink. It’s up to you if you want to go sheer or bold. Both can look amazing. Some of my favorites :

When it comes to Lip Color, it’s best to choose a sheer shade. Don’t apply it to your lips directly from the tube. Instead, use a lip brush for even and smooth application. Some of my favorites :

Fuchsia and bright pink cheek color is hard to find. It’s very very important to use a light hand when applying these products. Be sure to blow on your brush or tap it on the side of the cosmetics case to get all the extra powder off of the brush. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks, which are the part that sticks out when you smile. Some to try :

    I used to love wearing pink eyeshadow but I learned that light brown shades look better on me.

    I love wearing pink on my lips!

    I love hot pink in general for makeup, and I actually disagree in a way. While drugstore brands are obviously almost always inferior, I think it might be smarter to get the neutral stuff from the department stores and go drugstore for some brights. I had this really, really bright pink blush by Wet & Wild and it stayed put on my eyes as shadow better than any makeup I’ve used.

    In general though I try to mix drugstore with better stuff to get the most bang for my buck.

    I can’t imagine you with bright pink makeup. Photos please!

    Thanks for your comment on my PPP problems. They actually did get back to me soon after that, but still didn’t figure it out. :/ Just when I was getting opps again… I wrote them back though, so hopefully we’ll figure it out.

    Does my site load really slowly when you view it? I’ve noticed it and so did PPP, and I’m trying to figure out why that is.

    Ooh, nice work on all the listed products. That’s really handy. Smashbox are great! I need some new pink eye shadow as I have pretty m uch gone mental with mine and used it all. It’s one hot colour that’s for sure.

    The new beauty powder blush by MAC is a bright pink, called Sweetness, it’s HEAVENLY! there’s also a pro blush called azaela and WOW that blush is like… girl about town (if you’ve never seen it in person, it’s BRIIIIIGHT pink) in blush form. WOWZA

    i’m obsessed with pink, and of course you know i’m not afraid to show it!
