Sephora Wishlist : Lip Gloss
One of the beauty items that takes up the most room in my make up collection is lip gloss. I just love the stuff!! It’s easy, simple, and can easily amp up your look a notch or two. While a lot of my collection is comprised of drug store brands, my favorites are by Rimmel and CoverGirl, I am constantly drooling over various glosses from Sephora that I hope to one day add to my collection. Here are a few that I can’t wait to add.
Bourjois Effet 3D High Shine Lip Gloss : It comes in so many pretty colors and a wide variety of looks. From candy colored glosses, glitter glosses, and sheer shimmers there’s a look that will please everyone. All the online reviews that I have read describe the gloss as sheer and smooth, not sticky like some glosses can be. Colors that I would love to try : Rose Angelic 5 (golden berry pink), Framboise Magnific 23 (rose pearl with glitter), Rose Bahamas 25 (sheer candy pink), Rouge Sunset 27 (sheer cherry red), and Ambre 35 (shimmering peach).
Dior - Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect : This is a ultra-shimmering reformulation of Dior Addict lip gloss. Not only does it come in some great shades, but it feels and looks amazing on. I love that it comes with a brush applicator, and not a sponge wand. It makes for much easier application of the product. If you’re a fan of the original Dior Addict lip gloss, Sephora has matched up the names so that you can find the new version of your old favorite shade. Colors that I would love to try : Jersey Pink 157 (iridescent golden pink), Cotton Petal 247 (light milky pink), Raffia Orange 347 (shimmering apricot), Fuchsia Poplin 577 (vibrant berry pink), and Red Stockings 757 (shimmering true red).
Philosophy - Soul Mates Grapefruit Lip Gelato : This gloss uses atelocollagen, a naturally derived ingredient from the sea, to help plump your lips. To be honest, I’ve never really wanted to try plumping glosses. The concept just seems odd to me because the glosses plump your lips by irritating them. If you want to try plumping glosses but don’t want to drop the cash on one, this effect can be achieved by mixing some chili powder into your regular gloss just before applying. However, I’m a sucker for anything grapefruit scented and that’s what attracts me to this gloss.
Smashbox - O-Gloss : Despite my immediate attraction to the hot pink packaging, I want to try this gloss because it claims to react with your personal skin chemistry to transform into a custom shade of pink. This gloss contains Goji Berry-C Complex, ginkgo biloba, marine plankton, and pomegranate seed oil and avocado oil as active ingredients. Any product with avocado oil is excellent for your skin. I’ve been very satisfied with any Smashbox product that I have tried, so I’m sure that I would love this gloss.
Too Faced - Mood Swing : This gloss claims to change color depending on your body heat, ph balance, and mood. “Our supernatural formulation starts off crystal clear and blossoms into countless shades of pink from cotton candy to deep fuchsia, depending on the wearer’s emotional state.” This gloss has received very good reviews and a lot of them claim that it does change color. Active ingredients include jojoba oil, shea butter, Vitamin E, and OMC (a natural sunscreen). This gloss would definitely leave you with smooth and soft lips.

[...] My Lipstick: In all honesty, I’ve never worn lipstick and I doubt that I will. I’m just not a big fan of the stuff. However, I do love lip gloss! I have way too many tubes of the stuff. In my small cosmetics bag that I carry in my purse I carry my favorites, which are : MAC Tendertone in Take A Hint, Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, Philosophy Soul Mates Grapefruit Lip Gelato, Smith’s Rosebud Salve, and CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers in Watermelon Splash to name a few. I really want to try out some higher end glosses, like the ones in my post Sephora Wishlist : Lip Gloss. [...]
