A Little About Fashion…

Having a unique and individual style is important to everyone. While I believe that current styles and fashions are a great place to start off, you really cannot base your closet on current trends. We all have our own style that appeals to us and everyone should go with their instincts. What’s perfect for some isn’t always for others, and you should express yourself through what you wear. I grew up a tomboy and am now making up for lost time. I love fashion magazines and spend hours perusing shopping sites on the web and drooling over items that I can only hope to afford someday. L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers are amazing and I proudly own several items from each line. I wear a lot of Abercrombie & Fitch clothing. Urban Outfitters is amazing. In my downtime, I am generally found wearing layered tanks and VS Pink sweats. Getting ready for my day is something that I really look forward to. I love to try out different looks through my clothing, hair and make up.

A Little About Cosmetics…

Make up is an addiction of mine. I’m constantly admiring, wanting to try, and trying new things. Though black eyeliner is always a staple. Sephora is amazing. To me, cosmetics aren’t about covering your flaws but about enhancing what you’ve already got. I love to experiment and try new things. I’m not a brand snob and believe that good and bad things come from both drugstores and department stores alike. I wear black eyeliner on a near daily basis. Mascara is one beauty item that I could not live without. Blending and mixing eye shadows is one of the best ways to try a twist on your classic look. I love lip gloss, but can’t stand lip stick or lip liner. For my day to day look, I tend to stick to neutral shades and a more natural appearance. The trick is to apply things so that, no matter what you are wearing, it looks like a minimal amount. I wear perfume daily. My signature scent is Britney Spears’ Curious, though I also love Pink by Victoria’s Secret, L for L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, and Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture.
