Free People : Looks For Spring

One of my favorite lines for spring fashion is Free People. Their hippie chic and edgy items are perfect for spring because they aren’t too overdone, and are casual without being too undone. Featured in this post are my favorite Looks For Spring in items that I consider must haves for every closet – dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, and vests.

Free People : Looks For Spring : Dresses

Free People makes some of the best lightweight dresses out there. You can pair them with flip flops, boots, flats, heels… Anything. They are incredibly versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. Free People : Looks For Spring : Pants

For spring, the look of pants is all about destroyed and distressed. It’s very different from last years cigarette jeans (which are still in, actually) which were a lot more chic than urban. One surprise this year is the harem pant. Pictured left to right : Sunbleached Twill Cargo Pant, Shane Cigarette Jeans by Genetic, Cropped Harem Pant.

Free People : Looks For Spring : Shorts

Just like the pants for spring, opt for destroyed shorts. However, please stay away from overly destroyed and too revealing styles. These aren’t flattering on anyone. Pictured from left to right : We The Free Vintage Corset Tank, Rugged Denim Cut-Off Short, Navajo Poncho

Free People : Looks For Spring : Skirts

This year, skirts for spring are all about nature inspired prints, lightweight fabrics, and layers. Pictured from left to right : Crazy for Grommets Skirt, Heathered Jersey Skirt, Cotton Nature Skirt

Free People : Looks For Spring : Vests

Once vests came back into style, they just aren’t going to leave. They are the perfect way to add a bit of polish to a casual outfit. Pictured from left to right : State Fair Racer Vest, Standing Rock Leather Vest, Awesome Battenberg Vest
