Five Best Multi-Tasking Beauty Products
Over the years, just like anyone interested in makeup and beauty, I’ve gathered quite the stash of tips. They are passed down from family members and friends, found in magazines, and found in blog articles. We all have countless random tidbits stashed away, and I’m pretty sure that we all love hearing new ones. Most of my favorite beauty tips come from multi-tasking products. It’s great to spend money on a product knowing that you have multiple uses available. Here are, in my opinion at least, the Five Best Multi-Tasking Beauty Products. Hopefully some of you can benefit from them as well.
- Olive Oil is amazing for everything. Use it to deep condition your hair. Combine warm olive oil with oatmeal and honey for a great face mask. Mix in essential oil for instant massage oil. Use it as cuticle oil and wear a pair of cotton gloves for extra moisture.
- Vaseline is for more than just dry heels and elbows. Use it to moisturize and condition your eyelashes. Apply a small amount with a q-tip to tame unruly eyebrow hairs. Mix it with small amounts of lipstick or lip gloss, microwave for a few seconds, and blend together your own custom tinted lip gloss. Use it as a quick fix to tame fly aways (just the tiniest amount!).
- Eye Cream is a great multitasking product. If you’re like me and want to be preventative about aging, you use eye cream morning and night. To help concealer go on smoother and creamier on your eye area, mix it with a tiny bit of eye cream. Apply it to lips for extra smoothness and fullness. Dab on dry spots for an overnight fix.
- Baking Soda is a surprising product. Add 1/2 cup baking soda and essential oils to a bath for your own bath salts that are surprisingly soothing. Use it to exfoliate your hands, feet, and face. Mix 1 tablespoon with your shampoo to remove product buildup.
- Baby Wipes are great for all kinds of clean up. If you’re not a Mom, keep these around to clean up in a hurry (or when the power goes out this winter). They are great to have on hand for when you don’t have access to warm water to wash your hands. Surprisingly, these wipes will remove all of your makeup too. Even waterproof mascara. They are also a lot cheaper (probably a best buy) than makeup removing wipes by beauty brands.
What are your favorite multi-tasking beauty products? If you have a blog, I encourage you to post your take on the Five Best Multi-Tasking Beauty Products as well.
