Current Obsession : Bright Pink Nail Color
I’m one of those girls that loves to keep their finger nails natural, but will wear nothing but color on their toes. My Current Obsession is Bright Pink Nail Color. Specifically N.Y.C. (New York Color) Cosmetics Long-Wearing Nail Enamel in Pink Promenade Creme. It’s a bright and slightly coral shade of pink. Perfect for spring and summer. Or, when you are just missing the warmer weather. Nail color is one thing that I have a hard time spending a lot of money on. You never know if you’ll be satisfied with the color payoff, how it will wear, or if you’ll wear it more than once or twice. Available at drugstores for only 99 cents (USD), you can’t go wrong with this nail polish. Surprisingly, it wears decently and the color is bright and rich after a standard 2 coat application.
What are some of your favorite nail colors for spring?
Hopefully some luxury vacations are in everyone’s plans for spring and summer.

I love pink nail polish, I’ll have to pick some of this stuff up!
I recently purchased some Revlon glimmer gloss in banana and apricot and I think they will look perfect for spring because they’re sheer. I haven’t used them yet though. I would like to get some neon colors!
I think I have this exact color of N.Y.C., lol. I like all shades of red/pink. I rarely use any other colors. Although, I’d love to try the black nails thing – I’m too afraid of how it’ll stain my nails though!
I’m bad about painting my toes/nails – I don’t incorporate it into my routine, even though I love how my toes look when they’re painted. I think part of that is because I really suck at painting my toes! Have any tips? You could post mani/pedi steps/tips/tricks and you’d make at least one reader very happy!
I think I have that exact shade too! One of my faves. I need to bust out some nail color for sure.
I’m so anal about how my feet look that I almost never paint my toenails unless I’ve had a pedicure that month. :/
I’m the same way I like to keep my finger nails neutral so they match with anything. I love doing my toes over the top though. Pink is my favorite, but right now I’m really into this pinky/purple with a touch of gold, it sounds intense but its really springy. It’s called Petite brand “pink crush” i love it
Hot pink! I always use hot pink on my toes! hehe. Orange is good too as a once in awhile thing.
Milani has the best colors and the nail polish seems to last long for me, its like 2$ a bottle at walgreends/riteaid/cvs/ and i believe target carries this brand also.
I suggest you try UDPP! It makes your eye make up last throughout the day, no creases PLUS it makes it brighter. I totally see a difference and can’t wear any eye shadows without it!
i love the NYC bright red
it’s super love! but my favorite colors now are the earth tones
they look classy… not to mention wonderful and neat! and i love monochromatic colors, lighter colors on my finger nails and darker one on my toe nails
weee… whats hot? the bright pink nail color!!
too bad im not allowed to use this shoking nail colors at work! grrrrr
I think I have the same shade as well! NYC makes some really cute colors for summer. I usually wear bright pink on my toes, or a lemon/orange color which matched my bathing suit last year, haha. Now that the bright colors are out hopefully the warm weather will get here.
Also, regarding your comment, Keith said the same thing to me. He is lactose intolerant and has been since he was little, but he said perhaps the excess of dairy could have set something off. Thanks for the advice though. I’m gonna be keeping track like you said.
That is the polish I’m wearing right now! I just painted them last night.
i dont paint my nails often.. like i might see someone’s nails all prettied up and then i want to paint my nails but then afterwards i regret it and clean it off. i’m the same as you.. i don’t like nailpolish on toes for some reason..
I LOVE this polish color. It’s very similar to “Steamy” by MAC, but I honestly love the NYC one a bit more! Good choice!
I love to experiment with fun colors on my toes, because you can always cover them with closed shoes if the situation requires it. I recently painted mine a dark blue with a clear glitter topcoat. I loved it! There are lots of fun inexpensive polishes out there now. If you are worried about dark colors staining your nails, just use a generus coat of clear base first (and by generous I mean let it settle in the edges and cover the cuticle bed). After you have applied your color, you can clean up the edges, and when you are ready to remove your color, there’s no stain left behind!
