It’s no surprise that, yet again, Karl Lagerfeld aimed to impress with the Chanel Spring 2010 Ready to Wear collection. Taking a completely new twist for the label, the show was set up with a farm backdrop and background. Complete with a barn, which the models entered the runway from, and stacks of hay. Despite the unusual background, Lagerfeld’s work for Chanel was, as always, outstanding.

While the backdrop of this collection was certainly surprising from both Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld (it would have only been stranger if there were walk in tubs in the barn), it was still one of the best spring collections.
