Pureology Global Green USA's Green Schools Makeover Competition

As if being organic, vegan and cruelty free wasn’t good enough, Pureology is now offering you the chance to nominate your school for a Green Makeover. Pureology has teamed up with Global Green to make changes to schools around the nation. I found out about this contest as an Influenster member and couldn’t resist sharing it with the readers of Logical Harmony.

What exactly does it mean to have a green school? “Green schools are designed, built, renovated or operated in an ecological and resource-efficient manner.” This means changes in air quality, water quality, energy efficiency, providing proper ventilation, and a reduced carbon footprint. All of these things will make the schools better now and instill these ideas in future generations. Not only does this effect the environment, but it also means better quality conditions for the children in these schools.

Here is this weeks round of freebies. There’s a decent amount that were available this week and an overall decent variety. Choose from hair care from John Frieda and Dove, anti-aging cream from eb5, and various others. There is even a baby hair and body wash sample this week.

Since J Alternative Housewife is currently expecting, there are going to be more baby samples posted here. She’s a blogger that I’m close with and I’d love to post anything that might help her out. For those who are childless, I’ve heard that baby shampoo and body wash is great for cleaning make up brushes! I definitely try to keep the freebies available health conscious. Last week, I posted about a free sample of Nicorette, but you’ll never see me post anything for an alcohol or tobacco company (like Dutch Master cigars) here. If you are interested in those, please look elsewhere.
