Betsey Johnson Swimwear
Recently, I was browsing several sites online looking at swim wear. I always love to see what styles are going to be huge in the upcoming season. On several sites I noticed a common pattern between the suits that I loved – they were all designed by Betsey Johnson. I also realized that, as is apparent in this post, I am completely in love with skirted bikini bottoms in retro prints and colors. So, I decided to create a post featuring my favorites from the new line of Betsey Johnson Swimwear. I’m curious what you guys think of each piece!

The polka dots, the pink ribbon, the floral embellishments on the rear, the fact that it has a skirted bottom… What’s not to love about this set?? It combines a feminine details and a vintage cut with a touch of flirtiness. You can pick up the Betsey Johnson Polkadot Halter and the Betsey Johnson Polkadot Swimskirt at Urban Outfitters.

I love that this set is mint green. It’s a very retro and, in my opinion at least, an extremely underrated color. The ivory buttons, ivory fabric detail, a subtle pattern of this suit all remind me of the 1950′s. Once again, Betsey Johnson took a completely vintage style and remade it into a sexier version. It still has it’s innocence, but is just a tad too flirty for the time of the original style. Pick up the Betsey Johnson Zigfield Bandeau Top and the Betsey Johnson Zigfield Skirted Bottom at Urban Outfitters.

So much about this suit looks like lingerie to me. But, I absolutely love it. It’s a lot sexier than any of the other suits in this post and unique in that way. The black heart-shaped buttons on the skirted bikini bottoms are just too cute. Pick up the Betsey Johnson Parasol Bikini Top and the Betsey Johnson Parasol Skirted Bikini Bottoms at Nordstrom.

Yes, I really did love this suit so much to feature it twice! I just loved that this tankini set covers more skin, but is just as flirty and sexy as the other suits. It just goes to show that being sexy isn’t all about showing skin. Sometimes, it’s more about what you don’t show than what you do. Pick up the Betsey Johnson Zigfield Tankini and the Betsey Johnson Zigfield Cheeky Bottom at Urban Outfitters.

I LOVE Betsey Johnson! Her collection is always so fun and flirty.
Betsey is doing it up this season! Her new jewelry is AMAZING! In fact, as I was admiring it at work this last weekend I thought to myself, “I need to post my faves!” Maybe I’ll do that this week. WOW I love Betsey oh so much!
Those bathing suits are adorable! I like them!
I love the tankini!
I love them all! I think the first is my absolute fave! Sadly, I could never fit into the tops. : (
i see you like a skirted bottom, they are cute, i love comstum-y clothes
Love Betsey – it’s so fun but is really flattering too. Have you seen the Beauty range – retro shapes with big pink roses.
I love these new swim suits!I think Im bit older than many of u that posted ): 47 but I love Betsey Johnson and still wear a size 1 and try to keep fit and take care of my body! I feel like I can wear her swim suits and feel comfortable. So many other designers have such skimpy suits that even many of my much younger friends would not attempt to wear them! I think Betsey is a designer for all ages! By saying that Ihope I havent discouraged all of you young girls from buying and wearing such beautiful designs! They are very flattering for every shape and body!
Lets hope she keeps doing her own thing and never follows in the other designers footsteps!
