Beauty Reviews: CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara…
We all have our one or two must have beauty items that we cannot leave the house without. My main beauty must have is mascara. I have naturally long but fine eyelashes and have a very hard time finding mascara that works properly on them. So many of the mascara’s that I have heard are amazing leave my eyelashes full of clumps and do nothing to add length or volume. By now I’m sure that we have all heard the hype about Lash Blast Mascara by CoverGirl. In fact, the demand for this mascara has been so high that they released the Waterproof version early! Not being one to pass up trying a supposedly great item at a decent price (average selling price is $6.99 USD), I decided to pick up a tube.
Since I curl my eyelashes, I picked up the Waterproof version in Very Black. A beauty
trick that not everyone may know is that waterproof formula’s of mascara tend to hold curl better than non-waterproof versions. Like everyone else whose review I read, I love the packaging! It’s just nice to see fun and colorful products in my make up collection. The amount of bristles on this brush is awesome! It really helped to easily grab and coat each lash. The side of the brush does make it harder to get to the inner corners of your eyes, but with a little practice it’s easy to get the hang of. There were minimal clumps, which was a great surprise. Any other volumizing mascara that I have tried left lots of clumps in my lashes. Not a good look, and not fun to try to deal with either. I noticed that my eyelashes definitely look fuller. The staying power is amazing. No runs, no flakes, nothing. However, it was a bit more difficult to remove than my usual waterproof mascara. That is really my only complaint about this product.
Overall, I’d give this product a rating of 7 out of 10. Will it replace my staple mascara, Maybelline Full’N'Soft? No. For my lashes, that mascara still remains to be the best that I have tried. However, I really liked Last Blast a lot. It volumized my lashes with minimal clumping and looks natural. I’m sure that future formula’s will only improve on it.

I never curl my eyelashes because I’m always afraid I’ll mess it up or I’ll hurt myself, haha. I do love mascara though! I’m a fan of the MAC pro long lash since my eyelashes are pretty full, but not as long as I sometimes like them to be. Mascara makes everyone look brighter in my opinion!
Haha, I never curl either! My sister always tells me that my eyelashes will fall off if I do, and I don’t want to risk that. =x Wow! Your so lucky, I have really short and thin eyelashes. Do you have any mascara to recommend to me for that? I’ve tried on different types, but it always seems like I’m not wearing any. That’s how short my eyelashes are. Haha! And I have small, chinky eyes to boot! I always love my sister’s Dior diorshow mascara.
