What is your favorite mascara?

CoverGirl Lash Blast is hands down my favorite mascara. I’ve tried many different types and this stuff has never failed me. My former favorite was Maybelline Full’n'Soft, which is really great for a natural look. Lash Blast really made my lashes stand out by adding the volume I wanted. I’m one of those girls who really loves to layer the stuff on for volume and to make my lashes darker, not for length. This stuff is perfect. Read my full review for more.

What brand of makeup do you use the most?

CoverGirl, NARS, and Benefit. CoverGirl offers such a wide range of products at a great price. It’s great for things like loose and pressed powder, eyeliner, foundation, and blush. I love NARS and Benefit for items that I’m a bit pickier about, like concealer and the perfect shade of lip gloss.

What is the most expensive make up product you use?

NARS The Multiple and Benefit Erase Paste. I picked both because I didn’t buy NARS The Multiple myself, but with a gift card that I won from Total Beauty. Erase Paste is the most expensive product that I’ve shelled the cash out for myself, but I think it’s worth every penny. I love The Multiple because it’s a a more natural looking alternative to powder blush. Especially during the warmer months when you want to have less on your face. Erase Paste will change your life. What kind of shampoo & conditioner do you use?

L’Oreal EverPure. I’m always switching things up and I’m one of those people who has a million bottles in their shower. Right now, I’m really into this stuff. It smells wonderful and doesn’t contain sulfates or other harsh ingredients.

What is your favorite perfume?

L for L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani. And not just because I love Gwen! This stuff smells great. Being from the hippie friendly North West, I grew up on Nag Champa incense and patchouli oil. This is a grown up and more high maintenance version of that.

What is your favorite beauty product?

NARS Lip Gloss and Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery Moisturizer. I love the consistency and staying power of NARS Lip Gloss. Plus, the shade Orgasm is quite possibly the most perfect lip gloss shade ever created. I use it so often that I don’t even bother to put it away with my other products and leave it on the counter next to the bathroom faucets for easy touch up access. The Dermalogica moisturizer is one of the best moisturizers that I have ever used. It’s thick and creamy without clogging pores. I also love its herbal smell.
