Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo Review

For years, I have been hearing about how great the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo is. This powder duo, along with Brow Wiz, have achieved a cult status in the beauty community. I’ve been using Brow Wiz for a long time and love it, but after experienced with other brow powders falling short, I was hesitant to try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo. On a recent trip to Ulta, I decided that it was time for that to change.

Claims: “This innovative, makeup artist-approved brow powder is the only one you’ll need to define arches like a pro. Each pan contains densely-packed, finely-milled pigments in two corresponding light and dark hues, allowing you to add deeper or brighter tones exactly where you need them. The complexity of the shades lets you fine tune to counteract oxidization or ashiness due to skin or environmental changes.”

The Verdict: After using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo just a couple of times, it became clear that it has such a great reputation for a reason. The powder is very finely milled and silky. It’s very easy to pick up and apply the brow powder using a brush. It also works well with a brow gel used over or under the powder.

I purchased the shade Medium Brown without having a tester available. In the Brow Wiz, I use both Medium Brown and Chocolate. I figured that a lighter shade would be easier to work with than a darker one. In the packaging, the shades looked a lot lighter than I thought they would. The powders were much more pigmented than I expected but blended so evenly and smoothly. It did a great job of making my brows look fuller while still looking completely natural. It also wore really well throughout the day. I’m hooked!

  1. It’s funny because I always go for the Brow Wiz or Dip Brow but always skip by the powder. I’ll have to test it out next time I’m at work. Great suggestion 🙂
