A Drugstore Thrrrob Blush Look-A-Like
Like all girls, I’m always on the lookout for the perfect shade of blush. You want something that looks natural, not too subtle, and not too over powering. Recently I found my perfect shade in the form of Thrrrob Blush by Benefit, as mentioned in my post Wishlist : Benefit Cosmetics. While I loved the look of this blush on my skin, the idea of shelling out $28.00 (USD) for a blush is hard for me to handle until I know that there is no better blush out there. Some time in the drugstore cosmetics aisles may have led to me to just what I was looking for; the look of Thrrrob without the price tag.
Despite the recent trend of higher end products being marketed in drugstores, I found a great shade of blush from CoverGirl for under $4.00 (USD). Their original and classic Cheekers blush in Classic Pink was the closest shade to Thrrrob that I could find. It’s a shade darker in the package, but goes on with a bit less color pigment than Thrrrob. Balancing out to create the same look as Thrrrob does – a healthy and natural flush. While I will probably eventually purchase Thrrrob due to it being a higher quality product, for those looking for A Drugstore Thrrrob Blush Look-A-Like, check out CoverGirl Cheekers Blush in Classic Pink. Nice find!!!
I might check them out next time I’m at CVS
That looks like the blush my mom uses and has used as long as I can remember. I used to swipe it in high school. Love it!
That reminds me, I must buy a new blush. In fact, that colour looks very nice!
And your site looks very nice too! I can see now it’s going to make me start spending money on fashion and beauty! Ha-ha-ha.
Good work :]
I like high end cosmetics but I don’t think I will ever pay $28 for blush.
